• The main portion of the pendant was crafted with .925 sterling silver. A stunning blue teardrop shaped Chrysacolla cabochon sits in wishbone bezel with a seahorse charm dangling underneath. The detailed charm was cast in brass from a real seahorse. The charm has been heat treated to bring the copper to the surface which contrasts nicely with the blues of the stone.
• The entire pendant including the bail measures about 2 1/2" long.
  
• Comes with 20" silver plated steel rollo chain with a sterling lobster clasp enclosure and jump rings.
  
• The back of the silver pendant has been textured with a hammer and marked with .925 sterling and starburst stamps.
• The silver pendant was given a gloomy black patina before being polished to accentuate the textures of the metal. The brass seahorse has been tumbled with rough ceramic media and has a pleasant matte texture. A protective microcrystalline wax coating has been applied to protect the patina.

The patina and a protective coating have been carefully applied but please take certain precautions to protect the integrity of your jewelry! Do not submerge in water, swim, or bathe with it on as this could potentially wear on the surface - especially with chlorine or salt water. Everyday outdoor and daytime wear is perfectly normal but please do not leave in the sun (on a windowsill for example) for extended periods of time as this could affect the protective coating and color of the patina.
