This coffin nail is cast in white bronze* using the lost wax casting method. Real coffin nails from the 1800's were molded to create wax duplicates that were then hand cut, carved, and manipulated into this cross. So much of the beautiful nail detail is captured in the casting and lots of texture shows even after a good polish, but the nooks and crannies are what make it unique!
- Pendant measures about 80mm long.
- Hangs from a black leather adjustable sliding knot cord.
*White bronze may contain trace amounts of nickel up to 2%. Please be aware of this, especially if you have any nickel allergies.
