• Handcrafted with .925 sterling silver; a one of a kind fossilized shell cabochon set in silver bezel and wrapped in hefty twist wire. The back of the pendant has been hammered with texture and a .925 sterling charm has been soldered on. The pendant has a nice thick 20 gauge silver backing with nice weight to it.
• The entire pendant including the bail measures about 45mm long x 25mm wide.
  
• Hangs from a 24" silver plated steel rollo chain with sterling jump rings and a lobster clasp enclosure.
• The silver pendant was given a gloomy black patina before being polished to accentuate the textures of the metal. The brass seahorse has been tumbled with rough ceramic media and has a pleasant matte texture. A protective microcrystalline wax coating has been applied to protect the patina.

The patina and a protective coating have been carefully applied but please take certain precautions to protect the integrity of your jewelry! Do not submerge in water, swim, or bathe with it on as this could potentially wear on the surface - especially with chlorine or salt water. Everyday outdoor and daytime wear is perfectly normal but please do not leave in the sun (on a windowsill for example) for extended periods of time as this could affect the protective coating and color of the patina.
